Introducing Facility Services at Exentec
Exentec introduces Facility Services to its portfolio following the recent acquisition of Kinetics.
The acquisition of Kinetics strengthened many parts of the Exentec business by building on existing competencies such as Gas and Chemical Supply. It also signalled an expansion into new areas, notably Technical Facility Management (TFM). This strategic service addition extends the customer lifecycle for Exentec reaching into the operational phase of high-tech facilities.
Technical Facility Management strengthens our position as a global partner for semiconductor, biopharma, and advanced manufacturing clients, ensuring their mission‑critical facilities run safely, efficiently, and without interruption.
A complete technical services solution
Facility Services is a new service line for Exentec, but it was built for many years by the former Kinetics business in Asia, Europe and the Middle East. Many client relationships are built across several decades, giving the facility management teams unrivalled knowledge of our clients operational strategies and workings of each facility. TFM combines operations, maintenance, logistics, and administrative support into an integrated, end‑to‑end service model.
A strategic partner in facility performance
By partnering with the Facility Services team at Exentec, customers gain access to performance standards that directly impacts their bottom line through improved uptime, reduced defects, and enhanced operational efficiency.
Led by Greg Jackson, Vice President Facility Services, the team brings deep expertise and unwavering discipline to every engagement. Jackson says: “Facility management in high-tech industries demands an exceptional level of experience, skill, training, and discipline to meet our clients’ rigorous standards for uptime and purity.”
Combining intelligent automation with in-depth technical knowledge, the Facility Services team delivers tailored solutions that support the most demanding production environments. It ensures reliability throughout the facility.
Bringing technical expertise to each facility
Exentec provides Facility Services to high‑tech industries around the world, supported by experienced teams across Europe, Asia and the Middle East. In 2025, Exentec secured its first TFM contract in the US, which is a crucial focal area for growth into 2026. This growing global presence ensures rapid mobilization, standardized processes and a unified quality approach. Local teams working within client facilities bring specific site‑level expertise necessary to meet each customer’s unique operational requirements.
The scale of responsibility for the Facility Services team is huge, enabling more than 600,000 gas and chemical container changes each year. Jackson continues: “The team perform a critical action for our clients every minute, of every day! We achieve this through operational excellence, technical rigor, a highly skilled and proficient workforce, and a culture that treats every variable and action as critical.”
Success for the Facility Services team begins with technical expertise. A pool of more than 1,100 highly experienced Facility Managers, Technicians and Engineers are serving clients across over 30 global facilities. This technical experience is backed by sophisticated technology and mobile apps to provide data in real-time which supports decision-making.
